Introducing the New Skulytics
For more than a decade, I worked directly inside appliance and furniture retail operations managing catalogs exceeding 100,000 SKUs, collaborating with 250+ vendors, and overseeing merchandising in $100M+ revenue environments.

Authorization-Aware Product Data Infrastructure for Retail
Today, we’re launching the new Skulytics brand. This isn’t just a visual refresh.
It reflects the evolution of Skulytics into what we’ve been building all along, structured, permission-aware product data infrastructure for appliance, furniture, and mattress ecosystems.
The Problem Was Never Just “Messy Data”
For years, retail product data has been treated like a content issue. Bad spreadsheets. Inconsistent specifications. Pricing sheets that change weekly. But inside modern retail systems, the real issue isn’t formatting. It’s distribution. Manufacturers manage product data inside internal systems. Retailers access it through portals or exports. Platforms rebuild ingestion logic brand by brand. Pricing visibility rules get enforced downstream.
Every layer recreates the same logic. That model worked when systems were siloed. It doesn’t work when:
POS systems connect to ERP
ERP feeds eCommerce
Buying groups influence pricing visibility
Distributors affect availability signals
Platforms serve hundreds or thousands of retailers
Product data now moves across interconnected systems. That makes it infrastructure.
From Internal Systems to Infrastructure Company
Skulytics began as structured data systems built inside real retail environments. After managing and standardizing catalogs of 100,000+ SKUs across hundreds of
vendors, one thing became clear:
Retail platforms and manufacturers didn’t need another feed. They needed:
Unified product schemas
Consistent SKU normalization
Authorization-aware pricing delivery
Controlled manufacturer data distribution
Real-time update visibility
In 2025, Skulytics officially launched as an independent platform. In 2026, we rebranded to reflect what we’ve become: A unified Product Data API
built for modern retail infrastructure.
What Skulytics Provides
Skulytics delivers structured product data through a unified API layer designed for retail systems. Our infrastructure supports:
Retail platforms and manufacturers didn’t need another feed. They needed:
Unified Product Catalog API - Access normalized product data across 300+ appliance and furniture brands.
Authorization-Aware Pricing - Pricing and cost fields are delivered only where manufacturer authorization permits, enforced at the API layer.
Structured Specifications & Media - Normalized attributes across brands to power search, filtering, and product experiences.
Distributor & Buying Group Context- Where authorized, incorporate availability signals and program-level pricing logic.
Real-Time Updates - Webhooks and API endpoints ensure platforms stay synchronized as data changes.
We are not a website provider.
We are not bundled marketing services.
We are not scraped content feeds.
We operate as backend product data infrastructure.
Built for Platforms. Trusted by Manufacturers.
Skulytics serves two sides of the retail ecosystem:
For Retail Platforms (POS, ERP, eCommerce)
Stop rebuilding fragile ingestion pipelines. Build on structured, governed infrastructure instead.
For Manufacturers
Distribute product data with control. Enable authorized retailers while maintaining permission boundaries and governance. As retail systems become more interconnected, data governance becomes foundational not optional.
The Future of Retail Product Data
We believe the next phase of retail infrastructure will require:
Standardized cross-brand schemas
Embedded authorization enforcement
Real-time change notifications
API-first distribution models
AI-ready structured datasets
Product data should be reliable enough to build on. That’s the standard we’re working toward.
A Clearer Identity for a Clearer Future
This rebrand marks a transition from internal engine to category infrastructure.
Clearer positioning.
Expanded category coverage.
Deeper manufacturer connectivity.
Infrastructure-first focus.
We’re excited for what’s ahead.
